Vivre en Ville and EnviroCentre are collaborating with Piknic Electronik Gatineau to launch Sustainable Transportation Week this sunday september 16th!  Activities include bike decorating, bike parade (4:30 pm), photos… and other surprises.  Discount on entry fee for anyone who uses a sustainable mode of transport to get there.

The next Piknic Electronik Gatineau will be held September 9 in collaboration with the Festival de l’Outaouais Emergent. Festival DJs will make you dance all day behind the Canadian Museum of Civilization and part of the night at Le Petit Chicago. The last Piknic for its part, will take place on September 16 with no less than 5 DJs in the line-up!

So enjoy your week to rest your toes in the sun because Sunday you will not stop dancing!

For this new weekend, piknickers will dance to house and deep-house music. It will begin at 2 PM with UCP (Upperground Control Project) who will present his latest electronic music sets. To go on during the day, a LIVE AFFAIR LIVE! will be on stage for a live unique performance at 5:30 PM. To continue, at 7 PM, DJ MONO-POLY will make us discover his multiple and unique sets. To end this night, an after-party will be thrown at Le Petit Chicago with DJ JULIEN RACINE at 10 PM.

Malheureusement, dû aux risques d’orages, le piknic d’aujourd’hui 12 août est annulé. Toutefois, la fin de soirée au Petit Chicago aura lieu avec Seam dès 22h! Bonne pluie!

This Sunday August 12^th from 2 to 9 PM will be taking place the 9^th Piknic Electronik Gatineau.  The music will sound like House, UK Funky, Garage, and Bass. An eclectik piknic ahead! This Sunday’s program : DJ TSUNAMI will make us discover his drum & bass mixes. Will then be following SIMON CALLED PETER who will bring us to the USA with his Techno and UK Garage music – which is inspired from Detroit and Chicago. At 5:30 PM, LEXIS will make us discover his musical gems. To end the night in beauty, DJ SEAM will make us move on Le Petit Chicago’s dancefloor from 9 PM to 2 AM.
